The Legend of Deputy Jim is set in a small corner of a US county, the story follows the life story of an extraordinary man who is not great because he is a deputy but, he is a great man and a great deputy. Full of action, drama, and heroism this book promises to keep you gasping throughout.

This story is about a young man named Jim Edward who lives, studies and later becomes a Deputy at Story, a town neighboring Sheridan county, in Wyoming, USA.

Throughout his adventurous and eventful career, he travels to the neighboring regions hikes up the mountains and raids into the woods and caves to solve cases.

Jim Edward is an extraordinarily talented young man. He is a very self-dependent and self-respecting man. Married to his High School sweetheart, he has a happy loving, and altruistic family. Jim always strived to serve the people, Decided to do his graduations in criminal justice and service state from the Sheriff’s department. He always had a neck for vehicles and auto body works, was an excellent box, and had almost defeated a state-level boxer.

Being such a multipotent man, Jim Edward’s skills were already a boon for the department, but his real talents actually came to light when he stepped into his Deputy career. His excellent detective skills, problems solving abilities, combating and warfare skills combined with his ever so helpful and caring nature and his brilliant brain took him to a different height and made him a hero.

The North Western parts of the US are suffering due to corruption and scandals. The smuggling of drugs like meth is becoming a grievous problem for all the states. The notorious biker gangs are becoming a big problem for the county.

Smuggling drugs, raping and murdering people, and messing with the cops just to spread chaos and terror are what they do. But, there’s a larger conspiracy brewing around the county, the higher-ups are targeted by a much larger gang, and the biker gang has collaborated with them and is creating havoc at Sheridan.

Being a sucker for criminal-thriller series and movies, reading my first crime, action thriller novel didn’t let me down in any way. The story has a promising plot development and heroic scenes, which will not let you get bored at any point.

The action and drama will keep you hooked throughout. The author makes sure to personify every scene through his excellent writing skills and appeals to the reader’s senses in every possible way.

Dan Hendrickson is an author and a businessman from Sheridan, Wyoming. He has majored in journalism and also has a degree in Practical Theology. Dan also studied Martial Arts, has black belts in 2 styles and has instructed martial arts for over 20 years.

Dan returned to his passion for telling stories and published his debut book ‘The Last Enemy’ in 2019. Over the years, he successfully turned it into a book series. ‘The Legend of Deputy Jim’ is a prequel to the same series.

Apart from writing, he and his wife Cheryl have owned three different auto detailing businesses throughout the country, the last of which they still run to this day. He went on to do much volunteer Christian ministry work throughout the United States for most of his adult life and continues to pursue those endeavors to this day.
