When I started reading it, it was more of a teenage romance but little did I know I was introducing myself to a whole new world of exciting adventures.

The book will give you a fresh perspective of the world around you and not just this it will make you realize not everything is visible from the naked eye but hidden beneath so many layers. It talks about the working of the whole universe, it’s making, and most important the role of humans in making the universe it is today.

The story is set in a small town about a boy named Dru who is blessed with some mysterious superpower and meets a girl Alayana with whom he felt an instant connection. They fell in love like any other teenager but destiny has some other plans for them. After knowing Dru’s superpowers will she still love him ? or these mysterious powers will break apart their bond?
Plot ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Alayana is a sweet and smart girl who is later introduced to her capabilities. Feeling an instant connection, both Alanyana and Dru fell for each other. They felt an electrifying chemistry between them, little did they know it was more than just an attraction, feeling and bond.
Dru and his family belong to Arcadia, a planet in the universe and have supernatural powers. Drakkon, the manipulative shapeshifters attacked Arcadia and mixed their genes with the Ari. They experimented with mutating genes and Dru was the result of their hybrid experiment half Drakkon and half Ari.
Alayana unravels her real identity and purpose which all together gives the story an intriguing and exciting turn.

The story revolves around so many elements but it mainly focused on life beyond Earth, supernatural powers, and lots of action. There is no dull moment in this entire book and its cliffhanger will not only keep you hitched to this one but for the upcoming series also.

This writing style of the author will not only excite you but also create curiosity in you. The book starts with more like a usual teenager love story but as the story succeeds it opens to a whole new concept and lots of mystery and adventures.

Being a sucker for realism and practicality I always felt an instant liking for non-fiction books, but after Awakened changed my perspective. Characters were so much relatable to day to day life and the author had executed this masterpiece so well. This book will remind you of Twilight or other protagonists with superpowers. If you are a fiction lover this book won’t let you down in any way.
