How to Participate?
To take part in our Vowelor Scholarship Program 2019, you need to submit a detailed article on “History of Books” in not less than 2000 words and send it to our team at [email protected] before the end date.
Also, below is a brief overview of the topic to help you get started.
Overview
It all started with papyrus in Egypt to the latest kindle of today’s world. Books Industry has come this far where we have almost forgotten about the main history of books. Today’s generation is more occupied with gadgets, kindle, nook, audible, etc.
The real realm of pages has lost within the timelines of technology. It is not yet totally lost because some people still prefer them over the little piece of technology. If one reads the history of books, then he/she respects reading more than he/she is doing now.
Your article should include a detailed analysis of what is the “History of Books”. From where it all started, what are the new ways available in the market to read books. Followed by your personal opinion on the subject.
We also ask you to cite a minimum of two official sources to corroborate your arguments and list them as references at the bottom of your article.
Application Process
- In not less than 2000 words, write a compelling article about “History of Books”.
- Write short information (100 words) about yourself.
- Include a personal information section (full name, age, address, school and contact number).
- Email the article and biography (.docx format) along with a copy of your school’s admission form to [email protected].
Deadline
For this year’s Scholarship, we will accept applications until March 31, 2020, and the winner will be selected towards the end of December 2018. The prize will be mailed out by May 10, 2020.

The winning piece will be published on our website and shared on several social media platforms. By sending us your written work, you are already giving Vowelor permission to post your work.
