W.W Norton & Company
Book Review : The Undoing Project by Michael Lewis
The Undoing Project by Michael Lewis is an astounding biographical remark of the lives of two Israeli Psychologists – Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky. These two Noble Prize winning psychologists made groundbreaking discoveries in the behavior and decision-making process of human mind. Their findings led to the beginning of behavioral economics, advancements of Big Data and health sciences.
Michael Lewis’ book, The Undoing Project, throws light on the early life and the friendship between Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky. Michael has brilliantly narrated how, 40 years ago, an introvert-and-fugitive Amos and an extrovert-and-warrior Daniel joined hands to undo all the assumptions about the human mind. Lewis portrayed these fundamentally different personalities and their compelling collaboration into this book, The Undoing Project.
There are some lesser known memories of these two brilliant minds of the century in this book. The Undoing Project by Michael Lewis recreates many of those events including how a coin decided the authorship of their papers.
Completely equipped book for those who are looking to under the connections between mind and market.
