Prop and Friends is an illustrated storybook for children written by Emeka Enu and published in the year 2022. The book follows a Firefighter plane Prop who lives at Zik International Airport.
Prop is a very hardworking and passionate plane who saves animals and prevents the forest from burning, despite all this he always wished to be a military plane that was very strong and often sent to dangerous and challenging missions.
The book cover brilliantly captures the camaraderie of the characters. The way Prop and Oz were showcased in the book, the cover justifies that bond. It was represented in a beautiful way. It is a fun-filled journey with lots of adventurous rides.

We all have insecurities, some have for their physical appearance, some have for their emotional side but we all somehow forget that we are beautiful the way we are. Everyone has some certain purpose in life which they have to fulfill and they are no less than others in any way and Story of Prop is one of this kind.

The story revolves around Prop, who is a firefighter plane but he always wanted to be a military plane. One fine day Prop was discussing with his friend how much he wanted to be a military plane. Suddenly Oz, a military plane landed there.
They met with each other and had a really friendly talk but it was a really short meeting because Oz had to go on a mission. Oz’s Mission didn’t get executed the way it was planned. Will Prop be able to rescue Oz or will he be destroyed by the obstacles?
Plot ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The plot was really adventurous and exciting. The story had a great twist when Prop was commanded by his boss Bomber to go and rescue Oz.
Though earlier he was confused why his boss chose him despite being a small firefighter plane and not his military planes, later he tackled every situation with so much bravery and proved his boss was right in choosing him for the mission. Oz not only thanked him but saluted him for not being less than anyone.
Writing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Prop and Friends was a really meaningful and inspiring read for me. The author’s imagination was inventive and was really entertaining to the audience. Portraying planes’ emotions was a unique and creative concept. I finished the book within half an hour. Overall, it was fun to read such a heartwarming book.

The plot, storyline, and characters themselves were so intriguing that one can’t deny finishing this whole book in one go. No one can imagine planes having such thoughts and imagination.
Prop and Friends is a perfect children’s storybook series that will not only entertain them but also give them some valuable lessons. If you are a fiction lover then go for this but if you love non-fiction then give this book a try it has something meaningful for you.

Emeka Enu is a children’s book author living in Wilton, CT along with his wife and children. He is the author of the book series Prop and Friends. His wife is his true motivator behind this book. She encouraged him to write this series after she overheard him improvising bedtime stories he read to his son. This was the birth of the series, Prop and friends, and the rest, as they say, is history.
