The story is set in the crowded, upscale suburbs, on the outskirts of Houston. There are many worlds in this universe, Laelynn is an inhabitant of one of these worlds, named Irredarr.
On her mission to contain the darkness and save her inhabitants, she gets stuck in the ominous and dark realms of the shadow lord, the Lokskell. She gives birth to two new lives in one of his unforgiving and evil worlds.
To save her Wandelaar heiress from the dark and evil hands of Lokskell, she somehow manages to send off her daughter Ecko to earth, where she will grow up but destiny will make her return one day to save the worlds for his dark and cruel atrocities.

Adrina Ecko Zyanya, a kind, sweet and innocent girl, totally unaware of her identity and fate, lives with the Robert family as their daughter. Ecko’s very presence in her family, and her becoming a part of the sweet little family was a very strange event in itself. Dan and Racheal Robert who raised her as her parents are a very sweet, small, content, and very normal family.
But Ecko is different, she isn’t any other normal girl. Since her very childhood, she was able to see and feel the things no one else can. As she grew up, these supernatural incidents started to happen more often, she encountered an enemy who looked just like her. And one day, she loses her entire family to one such unreal, supernatural, and evil incident.
After losing everything, she finds herself in a condition where not only she is totally unsure about her own identity but also she starts questioning her sanity. After several struggles and a lot of quests to find the answer to her questions, she discovers some unbelievable truths about herself, her father, and her real mother.

The story has a lot of elements, but it mostly focuses on supernatural powers, magic and the fight between good and evil. It shows the dark and the bright side of magic. Some parts of the story can get a bit too graphic, explicit, and violent but, if you are looking for a fairytale, fantasy novel for adults, this story has just that for you.
The story unfolds with many twists and turns throughout the plot, unveiling secrets and mysteries along the way. That story guarantees to keep you gasping and squirming with anticipation and excitement.
Writing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The author has used a variety of writing techniques in the writing of this book, which has somehow worked well for the story. Techniques like storytelling, flashback, foreshadowing, journaling, and cliffhanger, make this story all the more interesting and interactive to read.
It is a well-written and well-executed piece with easy and imaginative language. Although it has a tendency to slow down in between, it won’t let you get bored and will take you till the very end.
