Book Review : The Mistress by Danielle Steel

The Mistress by Danielle Steel is yet another storytelling masterpiece by one of the most celebrated authors herself. In her latest book, The Mistress, Danielle has created a story of a lady who is surrounded by unimaginable wealth and ultimate power but feels alone and fragile inside.

The protagonist of the novel, The Mistress by Danielle Steel, is Natasha Leonova – a beautiful damsel – who was struggling for life. Vladimir Stanislas, a crooked billionaire gets impressed by her profound beauty and takes to an entirely new world of luxury. Being completely loyal to her protector, Natasha ignores all his ill businesses and black world without asking any questions. Her life is limited often to one of the lavish yachts with the armed crew members.

The plot of The Mistress by Danielle Steel gets interesting with the entry of Theo Luca, a son of a famous artist. His mother runs a restaurant cum museum decorated by his father’s incredible works which are not for sale. This restaurant is where Theo sees Natasha for the very first time and falls for her. While, Vladimir is obsessed with the priceless paintings of Theo’s father.

The whole story is weaved in a manner to outlines the hidden traits of human i.e. fortune, security, obsession, love, courage, loyalty and cruelty. Natasha can’t risk her life for Theo and Vladimir could do every evil for those paintings. The whole quest illuminated an engaging tale where love and desires are dangerous of all.
